Grilled Tri-Tip Steak with Herb Butter

- 2 pounds tri-tip steak
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (such as rosemary, thyme, and parsley), chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- Grilled asparagus wrapped in prosciutto
- Creamy polenta
Preparation
- Season the tri-tip steak with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, chopped fresh herbs, and minced garlic to make the herb butter. Set aside.
- Grill the tri-tip steak for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until medium-rare. Adjust the cooking time based on your desired doneness.
- Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Slice the steak against the grain and serve with a dollop of herb butter on top.
- Serve with grilled asparagus wrapped in prosciutto and creamy polenta on the side.
